Refundable Recycling

The beverage container deposit and corresponding refund are now based on the size of container only, not on the material the container is made of.

0-1L = $0.10

>1L = $0.25

You can leave the caps, tabs, and labels on!

It doesn't make a difference to us whether you crush your cans or not! The same number of cans (units) go in each of our bags! We do need to be able to see what was in the can though!

For example, some hand sanitizer is sold in cans and we cannot accept this as there was no deposit paid on it.

The only beverage containers refundable in Alberta are containers that have been purchased in Alberta* albertadepot.ca
